How engineering works
Utah building departments won't issue a permit without engineering that proves the building survives local snow, wind and seismic loads. We handle that for you. Your drawings are PE-stamped for your exact address and jurisdiction.
From order to permit
Yes. PE-stamped engineering sized to your loads is exactly what Utah building departments require. We engineer to the adopted 2021 I-codes and your site's snow, wind and seismic values.
Typical exclusions are improper installation, unapproved coatings, and damage from external causes. Full terms come in the written warranty with your order.
We help you file with our manufacturer, who issues the steel and finish warranties.
Stamped engineering for a standard building is included in your quote. Unusual sites or custom commercial work may carry additional engineering. We'll tell you up front.
